Join the 4 Lakes Polka Club for our first-ever Friday night polka dance! Wisconsin has a long and proud tradition of social polka dancing to cap off the week, and we're getting in on the action by throwing a Friday night affair of our own. You'll get the best of both worlds by enjoying vintage polka vinyl with DJ Shotski, and live music from the 12-member DB Polka Express, two of the premiere polka artists in the Madison area. 
Been polka dancing for years? Step right up, we'll be playing dance music all night long for you to show off your moves. Never stepped foot on a polka dance floor in your life? Come on down and we'll show you how it's done, and you'll leave with a new skill that will last a lifetime. Dance lessons will be provided by Roni Andrew, a Milwaukee-based folk dance and culture specialist. Beginner lessons will start at 6:30, and Roni will remain available throughout the event for further instruction in the polka, waltz, and schottische dances, as well as some lively, interactive group dances. All are welcome, dance instruction is specifically tailored for all ages and abilities. Partner or no partner, the polka is for everyone!
