The band Arlen is the eventual result of time, flexibility, and a few beverages among friends. Formed loosely over the course of the last few years, Arlen features the songs of Lee Henke (The Last Revel), Kyle Shelstad (Barbaro), and Soren Staff (Them Coulee Boys). The roles rotate from song to song, with instruments being passed back and forth in the studio and on stage. The formula is this: give songwriters time, freedom, no expectations and simply enjoy the ride. Joined by aces Nate Lebrun (Humbird, Bad Bad Hats) on drums and Simon Cropp and pedal steel, the group sounds like the result of an evening jamming in the garage. At times flowing, at others howling, but always rooted in the song.

Abby Webster is a Montana-based singer-songwriter whose music lives somewhere between Americana and indie-folk. Drawn to the quiet stories that often go unnoticed, she writes songs about the natural world, the complexities of being human, and the ordinary moments that quietly shape our lives. With a voice rooted in humor, tenderness, and childlike curiosity, Webster has a gift for uncovering beauty and meaning in the places you'd least expect to find it.
