Rock n’ Roll a’la Ramones meets King Tuff, with emphasis on dino-jr-tones sounding guitar, topped with a sprinkle of heavy metal Priest meets Maiden dust on top is Clean Room. Originally founded in Monona,WI by guitar/vocalist Jeffrey Halleran & drummer Taylor Low, both formerly of Breath Weapon, in the late 1990’s, who’ve recently now reunited in rock. Now joined by heavy metal record store neighbor Jess Gunderson on bass guitar, Clean Room forges ahead with this dynamic lineup hot the heels of their Spring 2023 released 4 song “Mechanical Haze” ep, featuring guest guitar work on “Skytime / Honkietonk Space Angel” by Isaiah Mitchell of Earthless & Black Crows. Clean Room’s 12 song 30 minute straight live set is not to be missed, especially for fans of tastefully treble boosted guitar solo work paired with soulful yowling vocals, backed by a cured thundering bass guitar meets pragmatic spastic drumming rhythm section.
