Cult Of Lip are a shoegaze trio from Madison, WI. Hannah Porter (bass/vocals), Ronnie Lee (guitar/vocals) and drummer Terrance Barrett presently constitute the band. Marsha—Cult Of Lip’s latest album, released in late 2023—features their sharpest songwriting to date. The band has existed in one form or another since 2009. Over that time, Cult Of Lip’s principal members have tightened and refined a dreamlike onslaught of noise and melody. Noted for a razor-sharp live show that “has the ability to invoke awe, as well as an awareness of magnitude,” Cult Of Lip’s penchant to deliver high-impact songs and performances remains undeniable.

Holly and the Nice Lions, as they exist now, have been playing together for 10 years. Holly Trasti (guitar/vocals), Steven Spoerl (bass/vocals), and Travis Pashek (drums) are the band's core members. They are split between Green Bay and Madison, WI. Over their run, the raucous, indie-tipped punk trio have shared the stage with Bully, The Muffs, Young Jesus, Shonen Knife, Liquid Mike, and many more. They will be recording their next album in April 2025 with producer and sound engineer Patrick Haight (Foxygen, Ty Segall, Xiu Xiu, Thee Oh Sees, etc.).

Heavy Looks is a dynamic power pop rock band based out of Madison, WI. Founding members Dirk Gunderson and Roz Greiert met in Stevens Point through the college music scene. After school, both moved to Madison in hopes of finding creative job opportunities but found themselves caught in the middle of a recession. To break up the monotony of working low paying soul-sucking nine-to-fives, they started writing and playing music together. In 2014, Heavy Looks released their debut EP, Senses Growing Dull, and made their presence known in the Madison music scene. Since then, the band has released two more albums, Waste It Right (2015) and Apathy (2022), and have opened for several notable national acts, including Curtis Harding, Gin Blossoms, The Posies, The New Pornographers, Palehound, Mannequin Pussy, Jeffrey Lewis, and Screaming Females. They are currently recording and mixing their fourth album soon to be released.
