Nashville’s Dallas Ugly are an indie rock band of truly trusted friends who after a decade of playing together return with their best work yet. Beautifully produced in collaboration with Grammy winning engineer Justin Francis, their sophomore album See Me Now is contemporary, crisp, and alive, a fiddle-filled entry in the current band-with-guitar renaissance that puts them in conversation with acts like MJ Lenderman, Big Thief, and Allegra Krieger while still channelling the sparkly sing-along heights of late 90s radio. The growth of heartache, finding footing in an unstable world, and modern anxiety resonate out in soaring harmony.

I’m a lifelong Wisconsinite, and I write, record, and produce all of my music at home in Milwaukee. I’ve been independently releasing as Jacob Slade since 2019 and, since then, have shared three full-length albums, landed placements on Spotify's  juniper, Morning Acoustic, and Fresh Finds playlists , and gotten to share my music with over a million listeners around the world.

My music falls somewhere between indie-folk & dream-pop, which has led me to start defining my sound as dream-folk. I see dream-folk as music that feels ethereal, introspective, and nostalgic thanks to rich and textured soundscapes, tender acoustic elements, and pop sensibility. I also love to leave hidden sounds in my music (birds chirping, floor creaks, etc.) to help bring you further into my headspace and highlight the beauty I see in combining music with the sounds of day-to-day life.

I’m currently working on my fourth full-length album with tentative release plans for May 2025. Thank you for supporting my music and helping me continue to chase my dreams.

The Spine Stealers are a two-gal duo making “spooky folk” influenced by the north-wood Wisconsin pines, 24/7 truck stop diners, heartbreak, and dark lakes. Kate and Emma started learning guitar together around bonfires in their shared hometown during the height of the pandemic, soon writing songs inspired by lonesome winters, the heartaches of nostalgia and broken ideas of love. The duo started frequenting open mics in July of 2022, which led them to a whirlwind first year as performers. It began with opening for Dead Horses at Madison’s Majestic Theater for Folk Fest 2023, then winning the 2023 Blue Ox Music Festival Virtual Band Competition, and releasing their first ever EP, “River Teeth Tapes” in July, 2023. 2024 brought the release of several singles, a feature in DAYBREAK magazine, and most proudly, the recording of their debut album “If the Sky Falls, Beyond the Sidewalks,” released in October, 2024. The duo is making a name in the Midwestern folk scene, and anxiously await the introduction of their sound to new corners of the country during upcoming tours.
