Kerosine Kites + The Belle Weather

Doors 7:00PM / Show 8:00PM

$10

After years of co-writing sessions, festival planning, sporadic performances, and overall "big idea" cultivating, Beth Kille (Beth Kille Band; Gin, Chocolate and Bottle Rockets) and Erik Kjelland (The Mascot Theory) began performing as a duo (and sometimes as a full band) under the name Kerosene Kites. These prolific and multi-award winning songwriters and co-founders of Flannel Fest began co-writing in the fall of 2013 after both were members of the Nashville Songwriters Association - Madison Chapter. Shared experiences of life on the road and supportive families at home allowed for a common lyrical bond and a basis for their holiday-themed North Star Sessions album released in December 2014. In December 2016 Kerosene Kites released "Under Cover Holiday" an album of re-imagined holiday classic holiday songs. The duo's first non-holiday album called "Float Away" was released in 2017, followed up by their "Always Face The Sun" album in late 2021.

The Belle Weather:

The Belle Weather is a hurricane. We are the heavy, rhythmic storm of an acoustic guitar, the deep pulse of an upright bass, and the soaring elegance of cello, violin, and voice. We are the eye of the storm and the damage done - equal parts modern folk and indie rock - a fusion of inspired anthems and the art of simple storytelling.
