The Old Oaks Duo encompasses the chill-yet-funky acoustic music of singer-songwriter Franko Laufenberg. Their music ranges from 12-string renditions of classic tunes like Heart of Gold and What’s My Age Again to melodious acoustic indie originals. The songwriting floats between peaceful and gripping while carrying consistently emotive vibes. Frank's vocals and guitar interludes are complemented by the harmonious saxophone solos and alto flute riffs of Daniel Haschke. They can also be seen playing with Madison’s award-winning funk-fusion band Wurk.
