MQBS (pronounced ‘Mobs’) is a musical collective based out of Madison, WI and made up of Quintin Bovre, Einar Crego, Beatrice Lawrence, Sigra DeWeese, and Jack Brahm. The group spans genres, often rotating lead singers and acting as live musical support for individual members’ solo endeavors. From jazz to folk to experimental pop, MQBS has dipped its collective toes into many a sound, and with a dynamic and ever evolving live show, is sure to have something for everyone.
In the realm of musical expression, Evan Walton spearheads Once More, Autumn, a project rooted in Eau Claire, Wisconsin’s artistic soil. A transplant of Minneapolis and an alumnus of Berklee College of Music, Walton is unwavering in his mission to fuse indie folk elements with alternative textures. Propelled by the artistry of Jeremy Boettcher (S. Carey), Isaac John, and Steve Shaw (The Bathtub Marys), the band’s collective talent breathes life, depth, and energy into the very essence of Once More, Autumn’s compositional landscape.
Drive-a-tron is an indie-rock/dance outfit mixing together heavy grooves, unexpected harmonies, pulsing keyboards, and poly-rhythmic lyrics as ingredients in a joyous musical burrito. Lightweight and easy to pack, Drive-a-tron is typically run by one person (Paul Vash - Madison, WI) who writes the songs, plays the instruments, makes the videos, and changes the oil. However, everyone who attends a Drive-a-tron show is invited to be “in the band”.
