Ex-Madisonite Waylan Nate Palan is bringing his NYC based party band, The Last Nites home to Wisconsin for their very first performance in the midwest. Formerly and currently of many celebrated Madison based bands, (including Hometown Sweethearts, Waylan St Palan & The Magic Elves and The Kissers, to name a few), Waylan has become a prominent part of New York City’s music scene since moving there in 2008. 

 His most active group, The Last Nites, are an extension of the musical legacy he has always strived to create. The band features himself alongside Berklee College of Music graduate Pam Meningroni on lead vocals, as well as a 3-piece horn section featuring members of Bright Eyes and The Duke Ellington Orchestra. Their approach to music is not unlike Palan’s previous cover band, Hometown Sweethearts. They play cover songs in their own style and try to dig deeper into the pop songbook to discover lesser-known gems that live in the depths of your best memories.
