Barry Manilow - better than you've heard him before! Well-renowned local performers, Emily Glick, Shannon Payette Seip, and Gail Becker, take on the superstar's songs and repertoire in a jaw-dropping cabaret show.  This One's For You: the Music of Barry Manilow is a fantastic journey celebrating the songs that he wrote and sang - his artistic contribution throughout the 20th century has truly helped shape the sound and culture of contemporary American pop music.

These three singers give exceptional harmonies and style to these classic gems with mind-blowing arrangements. Jeff-Award winning composer George Howe has arranged a stunning tapestry of Manilow's compositions that honors the artist in a way we have never heard before.

Emily, Shannon, and Gail, with Andrew Abrams on piano and Mike Koszewski on drums will weave you through some of his best-known songs like Can't Smile Without You, I Write the Songs, Weekend in New England, Daybreak, and Paradise Café.

Gail Becker has been no stranger to the cabaret world, having been at it for over thirty years. A native Chicagoan, Gail began her cabaret career there and helped open Davenport’s Piano Bar and Cabaret. She has been heard at many venues all over the country including New York, San Francisco, Naples Florida, and more. Gail still performs regularly at theatres and clubs.  She jumps back on the theatrical stage when given the opportunity.  Most recently she’s performed Marya in the regional premiere of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. Gail is also the Managing Director / Director of Education for Capital City Theatre, a music director, vocal coach, and voice over artist. She resides in Madison, WI. Learn more at http://www.gailbeckertalent.com/

Shannon Payette Seip still remembers the choreography from the Barry Manilow medley she sang in elementary school choir. A musical theater performer since the age of 9, Shannon has belted out tunes in Los Angeles, San Francisco, abroad, and right here in Wisconsin. An author of several books, Shannon wrote and performed video shorts for Nickelodeon’s NickMom network. Shannon is the Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Bean Sprouts and heads up Capital City Theatre’s holiday caroling program. You can find her books on Amazon.
