Abigail Arkley's Bio:

Abigail Arkley is a 21 year old artist, multi instrumentalist and songwriter from Minneapolis. Abigail started making music when she was 6 years old, being classically trained as a pianist before branching out into jazz, songwriting, production, and learning other instruments. Drawing from her background in jazz and instrumental music, Abigail and her band combine soaring jazz pop melodies with bittersweet and complex alt rock soundscapes. In 2021, Abigail released two singles, and her next release is an EP set for Summer 2022 with her band, featuring Andy Jones on bass, Dante Turkow on guitar, and Henry Ptacek on drums.

Deryk G:

Bio: DERYK G., a 22-year-old Latinx Chicago native, started making music sort of by accident. After a friend left their guitar behind at his house one weekend, he thought it looked cool and decided to pick it up. While that guitar made its way out of Deryk’s possession, the love of playing and making music that day never left. For the last 3 years, he has self-produced/written 2 EPs demonstrating his eclectic world that lies within an alternative, indie, and funk soundscape. Deryk has recently released two singles “Damian” and "Chaos and Disaster" off his upcoming project "Peace in Armageddon", which begins an exciting new era in his musical journey.

Mission Trip:

“Play fast and turn it to 10”

The phrase has guided Madison’s Mission Trip since they formed during the COVID pandemic in 2021. Opting to play as many live shows as possible rather than record, the group has become a staple of the Madison DIY scene over the past year. In the dark basements of Madison’s house shows, the five-piece has honed a unique sound that blends 90’s-influenced post punk with shoegaze, art punk, and modern indie. With influences ranging from the dual-guitar noise of Sonic Youth to the anthemic Midwest power-pop of the Replacements, no two Mission Trip songs sound the same. Now operating as a well-oiled DIY machine, Mission Trip’s live performances are explosions of communal joy and that good ole Midwestern angst.
