 Spiteburner is an alt/ rock garage rock band from Madison, Wisconsin. We formed in late 2021. We have been previously known as The Formula and Freebasing Rebecca.

We draw inspiration--and aspire to emulate--the music of many genres. Inspiration includes classic rock, punk, indie, country and garage rock. Spiteburner features both mellow, thoughtful songs and pulse pounding riffs with song titles like "Chillmantha Sickparty." We also cover the songs we love. We base our sound on bands like Blur, Green Day, The Black Keys, Sex Bob-omb, The Strokes, AC/DC and Wilco.
